New in our program is an interstage or output transformer for a line amplifier. We used a double c-core with 0,05mm lamination thickness, for a superior quality. Frequency response 15Hz-101KHz.

EI core output transformer:

AE also puts a lot of work in payable EI-core transformers. A good designed EI-transformer has got a beautiful music quality. And that is why quality is realizable for everyone.
The core material excist of annealed silicon iron and the windings are placed in several layers to make a wide frequency range possible. The cores are amply sufficient by sizes to quarantee a deep low.

C-core output transformer:

One step further in refinement is the output transformer with high quality c-core. For some time now we use cores with a lamination thickness of 0,05mm. This is rare in the fabrication of output transformers. But the quality is sublime. These cores have better quality and less losses. Therefor they can be build smaller then an EI-core transformer, without given in on for example a deep bass response. Of course they are winded in multipal sections. The frequency range is unprecedented large. These output transformers will be potted in a fine housing.

Amorphous core output transfomer:

Our show-piece! The most beuatiful we can make. Do you want to get the ultimate out of your tube circuit? Then this fine piece of work is worth to consider.

This OPT has a very large frequency range. The transformer with a RA of for example 2K5 gets amply sufficient 160 KHz at –3dB. Because this amorphous material saturates quicker then the common used silicium iron, the cores of this OPT are much larger of size. This is especially to get no limitation in the bass response. This super transformer is potted in a nice housing.

Of course we didn’t stop at this point, but we wonderd: “How can we make the most beautiful OPT more beautiful?”. By winding the secondary side with silver wire! If you know the blessings of silver wire you know the differences. A beautiful homogeneous mid to high. And an ultimate “low level detail”. Everything the normal copper winded amorphous transformes does is being more refined. Not cheap, but meant for the lover who only want the best.

The amorphous output transformers will be potted in our improved new nice housings, with a decent black powder coating. The connections are good accessible and installing it to the chassis will be easy to do.
